Our history

At DOTSOFT, our primary goal—from the moment we were founded to the present day—has been to deliver value to our partners. We are here to listen to their needs and provide feasible and practical solutions that integrate seamlessly into their daily business operations.

We are constantly learning and improving so that we can provide them with modern solutions that are fully tailored to their needs.

2004

We launch our business with a focus on developing e-commerce applications for the private sector.

2007

We make the strategic decision to focus our efforts on implementing projects involving web applications for the Greek public sector.

2009

We successfully complete more than 15 projects in the field of wireless networks throughout Greece.

2011

We decide to expand into tenders issued by European organizations within the EU, and so we establish the International Projects Division

2012

We launch a mobile app development initiative for Greek government agencies, while at the same time we establish a Research and Development Department to participate in innovation proposals and projects in Greece and abroad.

2013

Our international operations are getting underway with the signing of our first contract with a European organization.

2016

We begin designing and developing a platform for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing sensor data, which led to the creation of the SmartisCity platform.

2017

We transform our products into cloud applications and gradually adopt the SaaS model across all our products.

2018

Leading the way into a new era that appears to be taking shape in the Greek public sector, we implement the SmartisCity platform in a Greek municipality for the first time, while simultaneously we launch six research and development projects in the field of the Internet of Things.

2021

We launch Datagers, Greece’s first smart city application operations center, in partnership with e-trikala S.A.

2022

We expand and open a branch in Athens to meet our ever-growing needs. Always staying in step with the demands of the times, we launch a new line of business focused on document digitization and archiving services.

2023

Having successfully completed over 40 smart city projects in small, medium, and large municipalities throughout Greece, we are named Smart City Supplier of the Year. Our company is growing and is pleased to announce its listing on the Athens Stock Exchange. A new journey begins, and a major new step forward in our growth.

2024

We turn 20 and we’re moving forward with even more enthusiasm and energy. Now, more than 50 municipalities have entrusted us with making their cities “smart,” and we have established ourselves in the field of digitalization through our participation in key projects and by maintaining over 10 digitalization centers throughout Greece.
