The project involved the provisioning of supporting services to maintain the ESA Telecommunications and Integrated Applications (TIA) websites on a day-to-day basis, ensuring TIA's ability to communicate its activities to a wide audience and attract new projects.
The services consisted of providing:
- Technical software engineering support;
- Managed hosting and administration services;
- Editorial support for generating news stories; and
- Updating project web pages and graphical design to ensure an attractive layout.
DOTSOFT was the lead contractor operating corrective, preventive, perfective, and adaptive maintenance services for the ecosystem of websites (software/hardware) offered by the Directorate of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications. DOTSOFT was also responsible for the operational availability, security, as well as content management with up-to-date news and Directorates’ information. The websites had been consolidated into https://artes.esa.int/ and https://business.esa.int/ respectively after the migration to Drupal CMS.
