The contract 2022/AO/27 - OF1 concerned the provision of consultancy services and the development of online educational resources for the KHUB – Knowledge HUB platform. The primary objective of this project was to enhance the functionality and content organization of KHUB, which served as a central repository for knowledge sharing, learning materials, and resources in a specific domain, likely related to human rights, law, or governance.
Key services under this contract included scanning services, which involved the digitization of physical documents to be integrated into the KHUB system, ensuring broader access to essential resources. Additionally, the contractor was responsible for the development and implementation of a taxonomy and metadata framework, which was critical for structuring and categorizing content in a way that improved searchability, retrieval, and user navigation within the platform.
A significant aspect of the work also involved conducting Quality Assurance (QA) checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of the digitized content and metadata. The consultancy included advising on best practices for content curation, metadata standards, and system optimization to ensure the KHUB met modern educational and technological standards.
