DOTSOFT undertook the implementation of the project “Digital Culture Applications with a tour of museums, monuments and promotion of cultural events via mobile phones and tablets for the promotion of the island of Kea" according to the contract signed on 31/08/2020.
The object of the project is the creation of e-services and e-content with applications of digital culture, both for personal computers and for tablets and smart phones, which will include a tour of museums and monuments of the area as well as promotion of cultural events that take place in island all year round. The aim of the project is to enable the potential visitor of the island to get to know the points of cultural interest of the island remotely, using virtual tours using 360o technology but also audio tour technologies.
The project includes:
- Digital Culture Platform for the promotion and promotion of monuments and museums located in the Municipality via mobile phones and tablets
- Use of QR tags technology in selected points of cultural interest for application of audio tour in three languages
- Annual electronic cultural guide in three languages
- Event calendar through application for mobile phones and tablets
In the same application the visitor will be able to receive information about all the events of the island on his mobile phone in three languages.
