DOTSOFT S.A. has undertaken the implementation of a significant digital transformation project for the Municipality of Soufli, aiming to strengthen digital infrastructure, improve the operation of the urban environment, and provide modern digital services to citizens, visitors, and businesses.

The main objective of the project is to develop and install integrated applications and technological solutions that will contribute to the creation of a more efficient, secure, and digitally advanced municipality. Through the use of modern digital technologies, the Municipality of Soufli will be able to manage its infrastructure more effectively, support the local economy, and provide improved services to citizens.

Key Project Interventions

The project includes the development and implementation of five key digital transformation applications:

1. Connection of Lighting Fixtures to a Central Management System

Installation of remote management systems for municipal lighting and their integration with a central platform, enabling remote monitoring and optimal control of the street lighting network. The action concerns the supply and installation of a total of 40 pillars, the supporting equipment, and a management application.

2. Smart Lighting Systems in Municipal Buildings

Installation of 50 sensors and energy management software for monitoring and optimizing electricity consumption in municipal buildings.

3. Smart City Guide Platform

Development of a digital platform and mobile application that will serve as the Municipality’s smart guide, promoting local businesses, services, and offers, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the local economy and tourism.

4. Integrated Cybersecurity and Remote Working Infrastructure

Implementation of advanced cybersecurity systems, including network firewalls and endpoint security solutions, as well as the development of a remote working infrastructure to ensure secure remote access to the Municipality’s services.

5. Central Digital Transformation Data Management Platform

Creation of a unified platform for collecting and managing data from all the Municipality’s digital initiatives, enabling improved monitoring, analysis, and decision-making.

Another Step Towards a Smart City

Through the implementation of this project, the Municipality of Soufli significantly strengthens its digital capabilities and lays the foundations for the development of a modern Smart City ecosystem. The new infrastructure will enable the optimisation of energy management, the enhancement of cybersecurity, and the creation of new digital services that improve citizens’ everyday lives.
