The project aimed to support the design and development of studies and programmes, training courses and supporting reference materials, monitoring methodologies, as well as the development of new and/or the updating of existing online tools, web applications, courses and materials relevant to the Council of Europe (CoE) education policy areas. Moreover, the implementation of the project led to the creation of defined storylines and/or scenarios, interspersed with visually engaging graphic elements, quizzes and multimedia content, in order to enhance the learning experience and improve user interaction.

Dotsoft was assigned the project for the redesign of a LEMON course on the Key to Media Literacy. This course had been developed by the CoE Education Department and was redesigned by Dotsoft to make it more interactive and user-friendly through the use of visually engaging graphics and other multimedia tools. The courses were hosted on the CoE Help Platform.

Beyond the graphical redesign, Dotsoft also worked on the course content, reshaping the overall conceptual approach and underlying methodology, so that the courses were based on a critical thinking framework. In this context, an education content expert, familiar with the subject matter and with experience in this and several other LEMON courses, was involved in the project. Close collaboration and direct liaison took place, including joint working sessions and brainstorming on possible directions and improvements.
