The Municipality of Eordaia is implementing a strategic digital transformation project that paves the way for the creation of a modern, sustainable and smart city. The project consists of an integrated suite of digital services and applications that leverage modern information and communication technologies to enhance municipal operations, improve services for citizens and businesses, and strengthen transparency and public participation.
Scope of Work
Electronic Platform for Citizens and Businesses
A comprehensive web and mobile portal through which citizens can:
- Submit requests to the Municipality and track their progress.
- Make secure and fast online payments.
- Access up-to-date information about municipal services and procedures.
The platform significantly improves the user experience by reducing waiting times and minimising the need for in-person visits to municipal offices.
Energy Management System
By deploying smart monitoring infrastructure, the Municipality gains a comprehensive overview of electricity consumption across municipal buildings, public spaces and utility connections.

Smart Waste Management
Bin fill-level sensors, route monitoring and waste collection vehicle weighing systems create a modern waste management solution that provides:

The system covers waste collection vehicles, civil protection vehicles and municipal service vehicles.
