The project involves the development and operation of an Integrated School Request Management System for the Municipality of Xanthi, covering more than 60 schools and significantly improving communication and collaboration between school units and municipal services. The implementation of a system providing structured communication was essential to effectively address the increasing need for coordination and rapid response.

A key component of the solution is the mobile application (Android & iOS), through which school administrators can submit requests quickly and easily by providing the request category, description, photographs and location using GPS or a map. The application also operates offline, stores requests for later submission, and allows users to track their progress, access request history and receive push notifications.

At the same time, the web-based Request Management System enables municipal staff to register, assign and monitor requests, with access to detailed statistics and action history. Every action is accompanied by automated email notifications, while the system supports both automatic and manual assignment of requests, as well as the generation of work orders for municipal maintenance crews.

Overall, the project provides a modern and efficient communication channel between schools and the Municipality, ensuring better organisation, faster response times and greater transparency in request management.
