Using specialised applications and advanced equipment, the project is divided into two main components.

Smart Parking & Traffic Management

• Smart Parking System: Installation of in-ground parking sensors to monitor and manage parking spaces. Each parking space will be supervised through a sensor network, enabling drivers to easily locate available spaces. The system also includes electronic information displays and a dedicated mobile application.
• Smart City Platform: Development of an integrated platform for monitoring and analysing parking, traffic and other key urban data.
• Pedestrian Access Control System (Automatic Retractable Bollards): Installation of retractable bollards to regulate vehicle access to pedestrian streets, improving road safety and traffic flow throughout the city.
• Traffic Monitoring & Management System: Deployment of an intelligent traffic management system designed to optimise traffic flow, reduce congestion and improve urban mobility.

Digital Monument Signage & Wireless Connectivity

• Digital Monument Signage System: Installation of digital information points and applications to promote cultural landmarks and points of interest. Visitors will be able to access information about monuments and local events directly through their mobile phones and other smart devices.
• Free Public Wi-Fi: Deployment of a free wireless internet network, allowing residents and visitors to remain connected while accessing municipal digital services and cultural and tourism-related information.
