Provision of Website Support and Enhancement Services for the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA)
The project provides comprehensive maintenance and support services for the official website of the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), ensuring continuous availability, security, and high performance. It includes 24/7 monitoring and preventive maintenance, regular updates to the WordPress environment and AWS hosting infrastructure, as well as the management of integrated components such as the Algolia search engine. In addition, the contract covers ad hoc enhancements and the development of new functionalities to address evolving business needs and improve the user experience.
Project Objective
The project aims to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the website, maintain compliance with security and performance standards, and provide timely updates and fixes in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). It also seeks to provide flexibility for future enhancements, ensuring that the platform remains scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with MFSA’s digital strategy.
Scope of Work
The scope of work includes round-the-clock maintenance and support services, preventive measures for applications and servers, and the implementation of updates, patches, and service packs for the WordPress environment and AWS hosting infrastructure. It also includes maintenance of the Algolia search engine and the management of system exceptions. Beyond routine support activities, the project provides the development of new functionalities on a time-and-material basis, ranging from simple page creation to complex integrations with third-party applications through APIs.
