Consultancy services and online course development for the Council of Europe’s Knowledge Hub (KHUB) platform
The project supports the Council of Europe in enhancing the Knowledge Hub (KHUB) platform through the digitization, organization, and optimization of educational and institutional content. It includes the scanning and transformation of websites managed by the Education Department, as well as the integration of field project outputs into a unified digital knowledge repository. The initiative ensures improved accessibility, discoverability, and usability of educational resources while establishing a structured framework for content classification, metadata management, and quality assurance.
Project Objective
The project aims to create a comprehensive and user-friendly digital repository that consolidates publications, multimedia, and learning resources. It seeks to improve knowledge management, facilitate efficient content retrieval, and support the Council of Europe’s mission to provide high-quality educational and governance-related resources.
Scope of Work
Scanning Services: Digitization of 25 web portals and approximately 4,000 items from the Education Department and related projects.
Taxonomy Framework Development: Designing a hierarchical structure with themes, subthemes, and tags for content classification.
Metadata Integration: Adding metadata for each item, including title, author, and publication details.
Quality Assurance: Reviewing all deliverables, conducting periodic progress checks, and organizing a document management system with classification schemes.
Additional consultancy services cover best practices for content curation, metadata standards, and system optimization.
