IIDEA: Website Management & Development Services
Website Management and Development Services (Lot A: Website Development Services – Lot B: Website Management, Maintenance and Support Services) for the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA)
The project establishes a framework agreement for the provision of website management and development services, ensuring secure, user-friendly, and modern digital environments for International IDEA’s corporate website and a range of project-specific platforms. The contract covers the design, development, maintenance, and support of Drupal-based websites, while also allowing for the use of alternative content management systems where appropriate. These services contribute to maintaining high standards of accessibility, security, and digital engagement, supporting International IDEA’s global mission to advance democracy and strengthen democratic institutions worldwide.
Project Objective
The project aims to deliver high-quality web solutions that enhance user experience, strengthen cybersecurity, and ensure long-term scalability. It seeks to provide modern and intuitive website designs, maintain and upgrade existing digital platforms, develop new web solutions, and deliver continuous technical support. Compliance with secure software development practices and internationally recognized security standards is a key objective throughout the project lifecycle.
Scope of Work
The scope includes four main service categories:
Website Design: Redesign or create modern, intuitive websites with strong UX/UI and organized content architecture.
Enhancements of Existing Websites: Maintain and upgrade Drupal/LAMP websites, update templates, migrate content, and ensure secure coding practices.
Development of New Websites: Build new platforms using Drupal or alternative CMS, implement SSDLC principles, and integrate third-party systems.
Website Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing technical support, emergency maintenance, security updates, performance monitoring, and analytics reporting.
Additional tasks include documentation, training, risk management, and compliance with OWASP Top 10 security guidelines.
Within the scope of this Framework Contract, our team has undertaken the implementation of several SC/PO issued under this agreement.
