DOTSOFT SA participates in the implementation of the research project entitled "Intelligent Computer Models, Sensors and Early Diagnostic Indicators in the Automated Diagnosis of Children's Speeches", with the acronym SMARTSPEECH, code ΗΠ1ΑΒ and code MIS 5033088 under the Single Action State Aid for Research, Technological Development & Innovation "INVESTIGATION - CREATE - INNOVATION" of the OP "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation", NSRF 2014-2020.

The main objective of the project is to find biomarkers to predict the possibility of cellular mutations leading to carcinogenesis as well as some important clinical features of these carcinogenesis. This will be investigated through the bioinformatics analysis of a large volume of brain tumor genomic data and the development of sophisticated algorithms, based largely on a unique and untapped clinical database to be made available for this purpose by a specialized laboratory at the Imperial College Medical School London. The overall goal is to create a reliable prognostic mechanism that, in combination with the results of a single patient DNA test, can predict the occurrence of cancer mutations as well as their form. This mechanism could be used as a preventive test in high risk patients as well as in existing patients to predict disease progression and the delivery of optimal treatment.
