FRONTEX: GIS Services
Provision of ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS) Services for the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX)
The framework contract provides on-site and off-site services for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other information systems within Frontex, utilizing ESRI technologies. It supports the integration, customization, development, and maintenance of Frontex’s information systems environment, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with technical standards. The services combine consultancy, development, and knowledge transfer to strengthen the Agency’s capabilities in managing geospatial and related data.
Project Objective
The project aims to provide comprehensive technical and consultancy services that enhance Frontex’s GIS infrastructure and related systems. It seeks to ensure seamless integration, improve system performance, and support informed decision-making through advanced geospatial technologies and robust support mechanisms.
Scope of Work
The scope of work includes a wide range of activities such as project management, feasibility studies, proof-of-concept activities, system analysis and design, software development, testing, installation, and system administration. It also includes customization, documentation, training, quality assurance, end-user support, third-level support, and knowledge transfer. Services are provided both on-site (intramuros) and off-site (extramuros), ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to Frontex’s operational needs.
Within the scope of this Framework Contract, our team has undertaken the implementation of several SC/PO issued under this agreement.
