The project concerns the modernization of the telecommunications infrastructure of the Hellenic Police Academy through the supply, installation, and configuration of state-of-the-art networking equipment, ensuring reliable and secure wired and wireless (WiFi) broadband connectivity across the entire Amygdaleza campus.

The new infrastructure creates a unified, modern, and secure networking environment, aiming to support the educational process, improve the living conditions of cadets, and enhance the operational efficiency of the Hellenic Police Academy.

The coverage includes all major buildings of the campus:

• Hellenic Police Officers School, which serves as the central interconnection point.
• Hellenic Police Officers School dormitories (five three-storey buildings).
• CEPOL dormitories.
• Restaurant.
• Police Further Training School (three three-storey buildings).

Infrastructure Technical Specifications

• Wired Infrastructure: Utilization of the existing single-mode fiber optic cabling, interconnection with the central building, and installation of modern network switches to support the wireless access points.
• Wireless Infrastructure (WiFi): Installation of 120 state-of-the-art WiFi Access Points supporting WiFi 6 (802.11ax), providing high-speed connectivity, low latency, and the ability to serve a large number of simultaneous users.
• Network Security: Integration of a Router-Firewall for centralized management, advanced encryption protocols (WPA3), VLANs for service segmentation, and role-based access control.
• Management & Maintenance: Centralized monitoring and management system with real-time monitoring capabilities, software updates, and easy scalability.
