Digitalization of the Dodecanese Cadastre

A New Digital Era for the Dodecanese Cadastre Regulation

The project “Digitalization of the Procedures of the Dodecanese Cadastre Regulation (DCR)” marks a significant upgrade of the Cadastre’s services. Its objective is to improve the experience of citizens and enhance the efficiency of professionals who interact with the Cadastre Office.

The digital organization of cadastral records brings all information – records, properties, beneficiaries, legal acts, and documents – into a secure and unified environment. The system enables the entry of new data, the registration of legal acts together with the corresponding scanned documents, as well as the implementation of corrections where applicable.

Electronic applications fundamentally transform the way services are provided. Citizens and professionals are able to register legal acts or request certificates and copies, receiving both notifications and final documents electronically. At the same time, modern tools for financial reporting and revenue monitoring enhance transparency and control over financial flows.

Professionals involved in registrable acts, such as lawyers, engineers, notaries, and bailiffs, gain direct and secure access to cadastral information. This access reduces research time and significantly facilitates their work.

The development of web services introduces a new dimension of interoperability. Through the Interoperability Center, public authorities gain direct and reliable access to information, while the applications are connected to the registries of professional associations, ensuring smooth and efficient use by certified users.

In this way, the Dodecanese Cadastre Regulation enters a new digital era. Procedures become simpler, transactions faster and more reliable, while citizens and professionals benefit from high-quality services based on security and transparency.
