The project concerns the digitization, scientific documentation, management, and presentation of the Museum’s cultural and historical content, which includes archival material and museum collections related to the events before, during, and after the Kalavryta Holocaust.

As part of the project implementation, DOTSOFT S.A. is responsible for:

• The digitization and scientific documentation of historical material.
• The development of a modern website for the promotion of the museum and its collections.
• The development of a mobile application for Android and iOS.
• The implementation of virtual tour applications for the museum premises.
• The design and development of a digital cultural content repository.

The repository is designed according to the Europeana Data Model and is interconnected with the National Documentation Centre of Greece (EKT), enabling the publication of metadata to the National Aggregator of Digital Cultural Resources as well as to the European digital platform Europeana, in accordance with EKT interoperability specifications.

The solution contributes significantly to the preservation and dissemination of the historical memory of Kalavryta, enhancing access for citizens, researchers, students, and visitors to important historical and cultural content through modern digital technologies and interactive experiences.
